SUBSTANCE: invention relates to household electrical engineering. Device for mounting a motor assembly of a household appliance, such as a vacuum cleaner, the body of the appliance comprises an elastic mounting body intended to be positioned between the engine assembly and the body. Inner peripheral portion of the mounting body comprises a first portion of contact with the motor, a second motor contact portion provided with axial engine support elements and a connecting portion connecting the first and second contact portions to the engine. Radial stiffness of the first portion of contact with the motor is less than the radial stiffness of the connecting portion.

EFFECT: simplified mounting of the motor in the housing, improved compaction and reduce vibration.
