FIELD: aerosol generation systems.
SUBSTANCE: device for generating an aerosol contains: a housing, inside of which there is a hollow part; a cartridge connected to the housing and containing: a first chamber configured to store liquid; a second chamber located adjacent to the first chamber; a wick located in the second chamber for receiving liquid from the first chamber; and a heater configured to heat the wick; a connecting channel configured to connect the hollow part and the second chamber of the cartridge; an inlet channel formed in the cartridge to allow external air to enter the second chamber; and a sensor located adjacent to the supply channel and configured to detect an air flow passing through the supply channel, wherein the second chamber is located below the first chamber, and in which the supply channel comprises: a first flow channel extending vertically; and a second inlet located at the upper end of the first flow channel, the sensor being located adjacent the second inlet.
EFFECT: prevent sensor malfunction.
