FIELD: aerosols.
SUBSTANCE: device for generating an aerosol contains a cartridge containing a chamber configured to store liquid, a wick for receiving liquid from the chamber and a heater for heating the wick, a housing configured to detachably connect the cartridge to it, and contains an insertion space configured to accommodate a stick in it, a first circuit containing a heater, and a second circuit that serves to determine the temperature of the heater. The second circuit includes a first resistor in contact with or adjacent to the heater for receiving heat from the heater, in which the value of the resistance of the first resistor can change depending on the change in its temperature, a second resistor connected to the first resistor, and a sensor for receiving the value of current, supplied to the second resistor.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency.
