FIELD: images forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to matrix substrate and liquid crystal display device. Matrix substrate is rectangular substrate extending along x-axis direction and y-axis direction, and x-axis direction and y-axis direction are perpendicular to each other. Said substrate includes plurality of pixel electrodes, wherein each pixel electrode has first portion and second portion. First and second parts are respectively disposed along first and second directions, which differ from direction of x-axis and y-axis direction.
EFFECT: improving image visibility on liquid crystal display device by using polarized sunglasses to view liquid crystal display device with reduced dependence on viewing angle.
