SUBSTANCE: proposed is diaper (1) with front sheet (2), bottom sheet (3) and elongated absorbent element (4) located between sheets (2, 3), and liquid-permeable sheet (5) forming an intermediate layer and disposed between absorbent element (4) and front sheet (2) is provided. Absorbent element (4) has absorbent core (41). Absorbent core (41) has block zone (411), in which there is a plurality of block structures (400) comprising high basis weight bulges (43) and trough-like portions (44) of low basis weight located in the longitudinal direction and extended from part (A) placed on the side of the abdomen to part (B) placed on the side of the back. Bulges (43) and trough-like portions (44) of absorbent core (41) are formed as an integral unit, and sheet (5) forming the intermediate layer partially covers the block zones of the absorbent core, herewith the sheet forming the intermediate layer has a smaller length in the longitudinal direction (Y direction), than block zones (411) of absorbent core (41). Sheet (5) forming the intermediate layer is deflected towards the side located on the abdominal side of absorbent core (41) part (A).

EFFECT: diaper is proposed.
