FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wireless communication technique and can be used to control radio transmission in the frequency range of a transmitter. Method and radio node (800) for controlling the transmission of radio signals in a frequency band of a transmitter are provided to avoid or reduce interference in a frequency band of an impact object that is separate from the frequency band of the transmitter in the frequency domain. Radio node (800) applies (502) digital pre-emphasis, DPD, on signals to be transmitted on at least one carrier in the transmitter frequency band, that the components of intermodulation distortion, IMD, signals are pre-skewed asymmetrically with respect to at least one carrier, to suppress at least one of the IMD components within the frequency band of the target. Predistorted signals are then amplified (504) in the power amplifier and transmitted (506) on at least one carrier.
EFFECT: reduction of interference in the frequency band of the object of interference.
