FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication, particularly to decoding a signal containing encoded data symbols. Disclosed is a first radio node (108-1, 108-2; 110) and a method therein for transmitting a signal containing encoded data symbols to a second radio node (110; 108-1, 108-2). First and second radio nodes operate in wireless communication network (100). First radio node repeats n times the sequence of symbols S0, S1, ..., Sk-1 of data to be transmitted, wherein k is a multiple of n. First radio node codes n sequences of data symbols S0, S1, ..., Sk-1 using n orthogonal code sequences, wherein each code sequence contains n code elements. Additionally, the first radio node transmits to the second radio node a signal containing the corresponding coded sequence of data symbols S0, S1, ..., Sk-1 and an optional corresponding affix for dividing two coded symbol sequences S0, S1, ..., Sk-1 data.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of modulation and demodulation method to increase efficiency of wireless communication network.
