FIELD: satisfaction of human vital requirements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for cutting food products. In the method, the device for cutting food products comprises a frame, a working chamber, a cover with a feed tube over the cutting area, a cutting tool, which is movable with respect to the frame and made with the possibility of rectilinear reciprocating movement in the forward and reverse directions in the plane of cutting. Said device contains a transmission system with a drive element. Above working chamber is equipped with a removable intermediate container, which forms a slide for the movement of the cutting tool. Said slide has two side walls and a bottom, in which a slit is formed for passing the coupling member and the drive element and the opening for releasing chopped products.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the convenience of cleaning the device.
