SUBSTANCE: invention relates to encoding and decoding between transmitting and receiving devices and discloses methods and systems for transmitting LDPC signals. System and method for transmitting LDPC parameters are presented. In the method, the packet determines the initial number of OFDM symbols (Nsym_init), which is based on the number of information bits that must be delivered in the packet. An STBC value is also defined. Value of the number of additional symbols (Nsym_ext) is formed based on the value of Nsym_init, value of Nsym is based on the value of Nsym_init mentioned and the value of Nsym_ext mentioned. Value of Nldpc_ext is determined based on the STBC value and the value of Nsym_ext determine the LDPC parameters associated with the packet.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability of data transmission.
