FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method and device for extracting biomolecules are provided. Device comprises an insertion member, a body element with a lysis buffer and a discharge member for discharge of biomolecules. Insertion member serves to attach a sample, where the insertion member comprises a fastener. Method comprises attaching a sample containing the selected biomaterial to the insertion member, inserting the insertion member into the body element with the lysing buffer and discharging the biomolecules extracted from the biomaterial via the discharge member.
EFFECT: inventions simplify biomolecule extraction from biomaterial, enable efficient and unhindered testing to obtain reliable test results due to minimisation of damage from the extracted biomolecules and extraction with high concentration with few samples.
