SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hydroprocessing process comprising hydroprocessing a hydrocarbon feed stream in a hydroprocessing reactor to produce a hydroprocessing effluent stream; passing said hydroprocessing effluent stream through a hot separator to produce a hot overhead stream and a hot hydroprocessing effluent stream from the separator; passing said hot overhead stream into a warm separator to produce a warm overhead stream and a warm hydroprocessing effluent stream from the separator; passing said warm overhead stream into a cold separator to obtain a cold hydroprocessing effluent stream from the separator; stripping said hot hydroprocessing effluent stream from the separator, said warm hydroprocessing effluent stream from the separator, and said cold hydroprocessing effluent stream from the separator in a stripping column; obtaining a cold stripped stream and a hot stripped stream; and fractionating said hot stripped stream in a product vacuum fractionation column. Invention also relates to a hydroprocessing apparatus comprising a hydroprocessing reactor; a hot separator in communication with said hydroprocessing reactor; a hot stripping column in communication with said hot separator and said hydroprocessing reactor; a warm separator in communication with said hydroprocessing reactor; a warm stripping column in communication with said warm separator and with said hydroprocessing reactor, and a hot stripped stream line in communication with said hot stripping column; a cold stripping column in communication with said hydroprocessing reactor; a debutaniser column in communication with the line of the resulting cold overhead stream from said cold stripping column; and a product vacuum fractionation column in direct communication with said hot stripping column via a hot stripped stream line. Hot stripped hydroprocessed stream from the stripping column can be sent directly to the vacuum fractionating column instead of being processed first in an atmospheric fractionation column.
EFFECT: in the case of using a separate warm stripping column, both the warm stripped stream and the hot stripped stream can be fractionated in the same fractionating column, in particular a vacuum fractionating column.
