FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production technology of alundum and corundum ceramics and makes it possible to manufacture long-length products or articles of complex shape. Method for soldering alumina products involves the preparation of a slip, applying it to both surfaces to be welded, drying and heating the bonded surfaces under load. As a slip, use lime milk (a slurry of excess slaked lime in water), load on the surface is 5…25 kPa, heating is conducted to soldering temperature of 1,380…1,500 °C in a vacuum oven with a membrane pump to temperature of 150…250 °C with further heating in a vacuum with residual pressure of 1…10 Pa or in a neutral gas atmosphere (nitrogen, argon) to soldering temperature with this temperature for 15…30 min.

EFFECT: simplification of the soldering procedure.
