FIELD: images forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates generally to imaging devices, and more particularly to a replacement block for an electrophotographic image forming apparatus having an engaging member for positioning a magnetic sensor. Claimed replacement block for the electrophotographic image forming apparatus comprises a housing having an upper portion, a lower portion, a front portion and a rear portion disposed between the first sidewall and the second sidewall of the casing, the casing having a toner storage tank, a rotatable shaft disposed in the reservoir and having an axis of rotation, a magnet in the reservoir capable of moving due to the rotation of the shaft, and an engagement member disposed on the outer side of the upper housing part, wherein the engagement member is aligned with a point on the magnet moving path in the reservoir, the engagement member has a front surface that is not obstructed to contact and push the socket in the imaging device supporting the magnetic sensor, into the operating position of the magnetic sensor during insertion of the replacement block into the image forming apparatus.

EFFECT: technical result is to prevent damage to the image forming apparatus.
