SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to a pro-liposomal non-aqueous pharmaceutical depot formulation for the preparation of a depot formulation for local anesthesia; to a process for preparing the formulation; a kit for the treatment of pain, as well as to a pro-liposomal non-aqueous base depot formulation and a method of treating or alleviating pain in a subject in need thereof.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a stable pro-liposomal depot formulation in the form of a transparent, oily liquid solution with a relatively low viscosity, which, due to its low viscosity, can be administered by injection or infiltration into the wound, thereby providing a prolonged local action of the local anesthetic.
