FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the means for transporting and storing corrosive chemical products. Tank car for transportation of chemical products includes the welded metal boiler (2), which contains the shell (3), bottoms (4), manhole (5) and fittings (6) for installing the dispensing equipment and safety valves. Bottoms and shell are made of carbon steel, and the manhole and fittings are made of corrosion-resistant steel. On the inner surface of the shell, the bottom and on the outer surface – in the upper part of the boiler in the area of the fittings and manhole, the composite coating is applied, which comprises a synthetic polymer resin reinforced with fabrics.
EFFECT: invention reduces the cost, raises reliability and durability of the tank and expands the nomenclature of transported cargoes.
