FIELD: railway transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly to means of transportation of oil products viscous in cooling. The cistern for transporting oils, oil residue and other viscous oil products under low temperatures is comprised of a boiler (1) installed on transport bogies with an upper filling hatch, a lower drain tool, a steam heating casing (4) fixed on the lower half of the boiler. An insulated vessel filled with heat absorbent material is installed on a rod above the valve seat of the drain tool. The upper half of the cistern boiler above the steam heating casing is covered with heat insulating material. A U-shaped steam jacket (19) consisting of three rows of pipes 2 to 3 cm in diameter placed parallel to each other along the sides of the cistern boiler is installed within the steam heating casing at an angle of 10 degrees. The pipes are rigidly attached to holders welded to the boiler. A section of the pipeline connected to the inlet pipe of the casing is installed at the end of the steam line of the steam outlet of the jacket. Preheating the cistern boiler by the steam jacket to positive temperatures at the point of unloading prevents thermal stresses of welds and boiler metal with further heating of the oil product with a steam-water mixture and heat from the steam jacket in the steam heating casing.

EFFECT: invention maintains high temperature and fluidity of the transported oil product, reduces the unloading time thereof and thermal energy consumption for heating the oil product at low temperatures.
