SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the gas turbine engine rolling bearings defects technical diagnostics methods during testing and operation and can be used in engine building to detect the rolling bearing insufficient lubrication defect presence. In the gas turbine engine rotor rolling bearing technical condition diagnosing method, changing the rotor rotational speed, observing appearance of the body vibration components in the spectrum, equidistant from the component at the rotor speed, if they are spaced by the first critical speed value and at the same time the bearing temperature increases, making conclusion on the its insufficient lubrication defect appearance.

EFFECT: increase in the diagnostics reliability at the initial stage of the bearing lubrication defect development; efficiency of obtaining of the bearing lubrication defect appearance diagnosis and expansion of the diagnostics method capabilities.
