FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises defining first critical rotor rpm to set diagnostics conditions exceeding integrally said first critical rpm and covered by rotor rpm range. Then, housing vibration is measured registered in said range as amplitude-frequency spectrum. Subharmonic is looked for in said spectrum for, at least, one diagnostics condition, occurring in frequency equal to rotor first critical rpm and, at least, one component multiple of said subharmonic. In case said subharmonic do appear, conclusion is made on lubrication defect availability.
EFFECT: higher reliability and efficiency.
