FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the faceted gemstone parameters measuring methods and device. Device consists of set of radiation sources, each of which is configured to emit optical radiation at individual wavelengths or in the wavelengths intervals so, that the emitted radiation was irradiating at least a portion of the measurement position. Also, the device includes receiving system configured to detect radiation at plurality of perceived wavelengths or in perceived wavelengths intervals to measure the various parameters. Radiation from a set of radiation sources to the measuring position and from the measuring position to the receiving system is guided through the fiber optic conductors. Set of receiving devices consists of two spectrometers, the first of which is designed for the absorption measurement, and the second of which is for the Raman spectrum measurement. Method consists in all parameters measurement by one device, at that, the faceted gemstone is located in the same measuring position.
EFFECT: increase in the faceted gemstones sorting reliability and speed.
