SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the apparatuses for performing mass exchange processes in the heterogeneous liquid to solid particles and liquid to liquid systems (for example, dissolution, dehydration, emulsification, extraction), including for processes in which solid particles are prone to formation of large sparingly soluble pieces, for example during absorption of atmospheric moisture or in contact of solid phase with liquid, and after solid phase dissolution process of interaction between heavy concentrated solution and unreacted light liquid continues, or when polydispersed mixture of particles forming a dense precipitate, including gel-like precipitate, and can be used in chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, biotechnology and other industries. Pulsating apparatus for carrying out mass exchange processes in heterogeneous liquid to solid particles and liquid to liquid systems comprises a vertical housing with a pulsation tube arranged therein to form a gap with a bottom, to the upper end of which by means of a pulse conduit a pneumatic pulsations source is connected, made in the form of a bellows chamber, one of which walls is movable and connected to mechanical oscillation generator, apparatus comprises gas-filled elastic chambers connected to pulsation tube and annular space around it, inside the gas-filled elastic chamber connected to the pulsation tube, there is an insert with impermeable walls, the dimensions of which do not prevent movement of the movable wall of the bellows chamber and gas oscillations in it. Control method of pulsation apparatus consists in generation of oscillations of heterogeneous system in apparatus by generation of mechanical oscillations by source of pneumatic pulsations and their transmission through gas in a gas-filled elastic chamber connected to the pulsation tube, the value of the insert volume is set such as to provide the maximum oscillation amplitude of the heterogeneous system in the apparatus.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of apparatus, improves mixing conditions and speeds up dissolution processes, including large hard-soluble pieces of solid phase, as well as suspending dense layers of solid particles due to thin "emulsification" of one liquid phase (highly concentrated solution) in another (in low-concentration solution).
