FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the inertial centrifugal air purification from suspended particles and can be used for cleaning air dust flow in various industries with aspiration (dedusting) of technological processes and equipment, in pneumatic transport for various loose and finely dispersed materials, in air purification in ventilation systems. Method for cleaning the air-dust stream comprises the introduction of an air-dust polydisperse flow at a speed of 10–25 m/s into the inlet tangential nozzle of the screw distribution chamber, twisting of the air-dust flow to create a centrifugal force, discarding of polydisperse particles by centrifugal force to the peripheral zone of the chamber. By selecting the pitch of the helical surface, the air-dust flow is uniformly directed into the screw centrifugal channels. During the movement of the air-dust flow in the converging screw centrifugal channel, the amount of discarded polydisperse particles is increased by increasing the centrifugal force of the flow, and the bending radius of the spiral tape is reduced. Polydispersed particles are extracted from the air flow through the adjustable windows of the spiral tape into the recirculation pipe with the outlet channel. In the screw distribution chamber, a suction zone is created by means of suction of the incoming stream, an optimal acceleration of the flow of polydisperse particles is selected, an optimum zone of absorption of the flow of polydisperse particles is determined. Method is implemented by means of a device comprising a dust-precipitation chamber, an inlet tangential nozzle, a screw distribution chamber with outputs to the screw centrifugal channels, radially located in individual cases, a central exhaust pipe, a recirculation pipe with an outlet duct, a lower conical case and a sealed exhaust device.
