FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separators to be used in chemical and petrochemical industries, etc. Vortex separator comprises housing composed of helical swirler and three chambers for : energy separation, cleaned gas and dust intake, exhaust tubes and slime discharge. Helical swirler has double-entry channels with rectangular-section grooves decreasing in flow direction and two magnetostrictive converters connected to ultrasound vibration generator.

EFFECT: intensified separation, reduced drag and clogging.
