FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular to medical instruments, and is intended for the use in dentistry. Handle of the dental mirror comprises a cylindrical body with a ruler on the outer surface, equipped at one end with an axial hole with a thread for securing the mirror. Ruler is placed at the opposite end for securing the mirror along the entire cylindrical surface and is equipped with a length fixator installed in an axial cylindrical hole with an open slot of the housing. Cylindrical hole is closed at the end by a lid provided with an axial guide hole for installing working tools or resilient pins when setting their working length and a ruler along the cylindrical surface with a millimeter scale connected to the ruler on the cylindrical surface of the housing. Handle further comprises calibration holes located in the central part of the housing, provided with diameter indicators.
EFFECT: invention provides accelerated process of root canal treatment and improved quality.
