FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: technical solution refers to medical instruments and is intended for use in dentistry. In the handle of the dental mirror, containing a cylindrical body with a ruler on the outer surface, equipped at one end with an axial hole with a thread for securing the mirror, the body is made of two parts with threaded connection of the parts to each other, the axial hole with the thread for fixing the mirror is made from the edge of one part of the body, and the ruler is made over the entire outer cylindrical surface up to 35 mm in length from the edge of the second part of the body and is provided with a fixing device for the length of the instruments or a gutta percha pin, made in the form of a cylindrical rod with a spacer element and an indicator of the specified length, installed coaxially in a cylindrical hole with an open cut of the body for the entire length of this part of the body, wherein at the end of the second housing part a guide hole is provided for mounting working tools or gutta-percha pins when exhibiting their working length, the handle further comprises calibration holes for the gutta-percha pins located in the first part of the housing, provided with indexes for their diameter. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in the handle of the dental mirror, comprising a cylindrical body with a ruler on the outer surface, provided at one end with an axial hole with a thread for securing the mirror, the body is made of two parts with threaded connection of parts among themselves, the axial hole with the thread for fixing the mirror is made from the edge of one part of the body, and the ruler is made over the entire outer cylindrical surface up to 35 mm in length from the edge of the second part of the body and is provided with fixing devices for the length of instruments or gutta percha pins, each of the detents of the length to be set is made in the form of a rod with a spacer and an indicator of the length to be set and is mounted in each of the four symmetrically disposed openings with an open slit of the body for the entire length of this part of the body, wherein at the end of the second body part guide holes are provided for mounting working tools or gutta-percha pins when exhibiting their working length coaxially with the openings of the housing, the handle further comprises calibration holes for the gutta-percha pins located in the first part of the housing, provided with indexes for their diameter.
EFFECT: technical result of the claimed technical solution is the acceleration of the tooth treatment process with the improvement of the quality of treatment.
