Control circuit is configured to determine the indication of the derivative of the electric characteristic of the heating element in time and determine whether a faulty state of the electronic aerosol system has occurred based on a certain indication of the derivative of the electric characteristic of the heating element in time. Disclosed is a method of the operation of the electronic aerosol generating system using an electronic aerosol generating system.

EFFECT: technical result is identifying the instant of rapid overheating of the heating element in the aerosol generating system, which is necessary for subsequent corrective actions.
