SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the formed from variety of tobacco materials smoking articles with tobacco rods manufacturing method and device. Cigarettes making plant comprises conveyor, on which the first tobacco material continuous flow is conveyed to the tobacco rod forming device, and application means configured to apply the second tobacco material predetermined amount onto the first tobacco material continuous flow predetermined areas and additionally configured to simultaneously adjust the height of at least individual portions of the first tobacco continuous flow. Smoking articles manufacturing method includes the stages, at which transporting the first tobacco material in the form of continuous flow to the tobacco rod forming device; and using the applications means periodically applying the second tobacco material predetermined amount onto the first tobacco material continuous flow predetermined areas, wherein the said application means and additionally configured to simultaneously adjust the height of at least individual portions of the first tobacco material continuous flow; wrapping the resulting first and second tobacco materials continuous flow into the wrapping material to form the continuous tobacco rod.

EFFECT: improvement of the cigarettes manufacturing existing technologies in order to provide more flexible and cost-efficient cigarettes production.
