FIELD: neck construction.
SUBSTANCE: described is stretch-blow moulded plastic container (11), having container body (14), which is closed by a container base, and container neck (12), which adjoins container body (14) via shoulder region (17) and which has container opening (13). Container body (14) and container neck (12) are mutually separated by support ring (15), which substantially radially protrudes, runs circumferentially in at least some regions and which has support ring underside (51). Shoulder region (17) has first shoulder section (18), which runs in immediate proximity to support ring underside (51), and second shoulder support (19), which is integrally connected to first shoulder support (18) and which substantially radially adjoins support ring (5). Also described is a stretch-blow moulding method in which a support ring of a preform, which is placed into a mould cavity of a blow moulding tool, is overblown during radial and axial stretching of the preform.
EFFECT: invention provides a stretch blow molded plastic container with a container body which is closed with a container bottom and, together with a subsequent over a shoulder portion of the container body container neck comprising a container opening.
