FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, to transformers with a rotating field, and can be used in multipolar transformers with a rotating field and semiconductor converters based on them. Invention provides a reduction in the number of taps, as well as minimization of the internal connections of the annular winding by combining groups of coils lying at opposite-pole poles, to the common section of the ring winding, which is commutated as part of the converter as a unit when the coil groups are successively coupled.
EFFECT: technical result is a reduction in the number of switched bends of the ring winding and the semiconductor keys required for this, possibility of using any number of magnetic poles in a transformer with a rotating field, simplifying the assembly technology.
