FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for power supply of high-frequency alternating current electric mains, as well as on-board network of aircrafts. Invention is based on use of multi-pole modulation of distribution of an electromagnetic field in a transformer with a rotating field with an additional modulating primary three-phase winding having a greater number of poles. Multiple reversal of polarity of induced voltage in phases of secondary winding over period of supply mains is provided. Invention makes it possible to obtain multiplication factor 8 times, i.e. at supply from industrial network with frequency of 50 Hz to generate output voltage with frequency of 400 Hz.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of frequency multiplication.
