METHOD OF SUPPRESSING THE GROWTH OF MICROORGANISMS BY ANTIGENES-EXTRACTS FROM HELMINTS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C12Q1/04 C12N1/20

Abstract RU 2665761 C1

FIELD: parasitology; microbiology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical and veterinary parasitology and microbiology. Method of suppressing the growth of microorganisms involves the preparation of antigen extracts from helminths Anisakis simplex and Dirofilaria immitis and obtaining a pure culture of microorganisms, which used Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, Micrococcus sp., by washing off the daily culture from the surface of a dense agar medium followed by standardization based on commercial turbidity standards No. 5 and No. 10, approved by WHO as the primary standard of turbidity for the optical standardization of bacterial suspensions. Check the extracts from helminths for sterility and determine the protein content in them. Inoculate microorganisms on meat-peptone agar, apply paper disks to the agar surface, impregnated with antigen-extracts from helminths Anisakis simplex and Dirofilaria immitis, with subsequent evaluation of the results by the presence of a pronounced zone of microorganisms growth retardation around paper discs impregnated with appropriate extracts.

EFFECT: suppression of microorganism growth.
