FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: carbon dioxide is fed into a saponite suspension at pressure of up to 2 gkf/cm2 in amount of up to 300 g per 1 kg of dry residue, and the treated with a coagulant, preferably aluminium sulphate.
EFFECT: high rate of thickening saponite suspension and efficiency of the concentration plant.
