SUBSTANCE: structural bearing (10; 31) comprises sliding body (12) with a base and a convexly curved sliding surface in the form of a spherical portion, as well as receptacle (14) for movably holding sliding body (12), wherein receptacle (14) has a concavely curved receiving surface in the form of a spherical portion and at least partially encloses the sliding surface of sliding body (12). Receptacle (14) comprises at least one receptacle lateral surface (22) which is arranged such that it delimits the receiving surface to form edge (13) of the receiving surface having a variable height relative to the lowest point of the concavely curved receiving surface in the region of receptacle lateral surface (22).
EFFECT: this makes it possible to obtain a compact support.
