FIELD: machine building; measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to measuring technology, and can be used for monitoring and metering the operating time (motor service hours) of the internal combustion engine (ICE) of automotive tractor equipment under operating conditions. Essence of the invention consists in the following. Operating time according to the hour meter is measured discretely, and in each measuring interval, respectively, the average power load factor of the engine is determined, engine performance is determined based on the average torque and speed of the crankshaft, taking into account the average load factor and the single engine operating time load coefficient, and the total engine operating time is calculated by the mathematical formula.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability of measuring the operating time of an internal combustion engine.
