FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: device includes time element (1) generator, connected directly to electronic signals recorder (5), tensometric link (2), containing four tensometric resistors (R3-R6), interconnected in bridge scheme, with built-in voltage relay (KV), connected to integral analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) (4), onboard satellite positioning module (3), connected to signals electronic recorder (5) and integral ADC (4), which, in its turn, is also connected to signals electronic recorder (5), as well as engine speed sensor (6), connected only to integral ADC (4). Tensometric link (2) is equipped with voltage relay (KV), which at actuation of generates analogue signal of certain value, unambiguously informing on presence or absence of load on MTU hitch. Disclosed also is method of machine-tractor unit operation time measuring. Enabling also possibility of separate accurate MTU operating time measurement, downtime, idle run time, MTU on field manoeuvres time. Enabling also possibility of determining power consumed by MTU, its coordinates and movement route.

EFFECT: enabling expansion of measuring system functional capabilities.
