SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to means for optimizing the visualization of a web page. To this end, a method is proposed that includes generating a first result of rendering a web page with enabled scripting and generating a second result of rendering the web page with the script disabled. Method also includes comparing the first rendering result with the second rendering result to determine whether the web page is content independent, and storing the URL for a web page in a URL list that is independent of content when the web page is content independent. Method may further include receiving a request to visualize a web page identified by the URL prior to rendering, determining that the URL is a URL that is independent of content, and visualizing a web page with the script disabled, in response to the definition that the URL is a URL independent of the content.
