FIELD: transport machinery.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport machine building. In the method, the design of the front of the vehicle comprises a transverse front bumper element, energy-absorbing element, screw element with internal thread, protrusion and recess. Above transverse front bumper element contains a front bumper. Above energy-absorbing element is attached to the front surface of the transverse element of the front bumper and has the shape of a polygonal closed section. Above screw element with internal thread is made in the section of the front surface of the transverse element of the front bumper, to which the bolt is screwed. Said bolt passes through the energy-absorbing element and attaches the energy-absorbing element to the transverse element of the front bumper. Resulting projection protrudes by an amount greater than the height of the head of the bolt from the lateral surface of the transverse element of the front bumper. On the front surface side of the transverse element of the front bumper a recess is formed to accommodate the protrusion.
EFFECT: improvement in absorption of impact energy is achieved.
