FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to underrun protection device for vehicle and to vehicle (preferably cargo-carrying) with such device. The device contains shock-taking element which layout corresponds to expected shock impact of force (F) in case of collision with other vehicle, and at least one energy absorbing connecting element (8) which attaches shock-taking element to frame and is intended for its compression in case of mentioned collision. Connecting element (8) contains outer section (11) and inner section (12) which are telescopically located in such a way that during collision the outer section (11) may shift relative to inner section (12) with energy absorption. In this structure, connecting element (8) also contains energy absorbing unit (15) the layout of which provides its compression with energy absorption during shifting.
EFFECT: higher safety.
