FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to switching devices used in household appliances. Invention describes switching device (52) for energizing electronic control unit (14) of household appliance (10) with first connection point (22) for connection to DC voltage source (24), with a second connection point (26) for connection to the power supply terminal of control unit (14) and with switching transistor (18), which provides switching section (16) between the first and second connection locations (22, 26), switching portion (16) being switchable by third terminal (20) of switching transistor (18), switching device (52) being configured to include switching portion (16) by means of electronic switching element (28) of switching device (52) having an effect on third terminal (20) of switching transistor (18), and switched off by tripping signal (30) of control unit (14) having an effect on third terminal (20) of switching transistor (18). According to the invention, switching device (52) comprises position determining unit (32) for providing status signal (34) indicative of the switching state of switching section (16), and integrator unit (36), position determining unit (32) being configured to provide status signal (34) depending on the effect on electronic switching element (28) and on tripping signal (30), position determining unit (32) is connected to third terminal (20) by integrator unit (36) for controlling switching section (16) of switching transistor (18) depending on state signal (34).

EFFECT: invention is intended to reduce the load on the structural elements during the shutdown process.
