FIELD: seismology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to seismology and can be used to identify ionospheric earthquake precursors according to probe satellite measurements. Essence: an ionospheric precursor is recorded in case of confirmation of at least three of the following signs: the appearance of ionospheric anomalies locally over earthquake preparation zone, the change in deviation sign of electron concentration from the unperturbed value, change in electron temperature measured with the help of probe instruments; decrease in the average mass of ions fixed by mass-spectrometer of ions.
EFFECT: identification of ionospheric earthquake precursors.
