SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for qualitative and quantitative analysis of nucleic acids (DNA and RNA). Device uses the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method in real time. Device comprising a thermal cycler, including a heat-conducting element with the recesses for tubes with reaction mixtures located therein, which has through internal channels, thermal cover, automatic temperature control device, an optical system, a microprocessor control device, a personal computer and an air hydraulic system comprising a controller, pipelines, containers, partially filled with liquid, radiators, air compressor, air filter and solenoid valves, is additionally equipped with two devices for automatic temperature control and two thermoelectric elements. With the help of thermoelectric elements, the temperature of the liquid in the tanks at the upper and lower levels is maintained. With the help of a compressor and valves, the fluid flows cyclically through the through-hole internal channels of the heat-conducting element.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the rate of change of temperature in the cyclic mode and ensuring equalization of the temperature of all the tubes containing the reaction mixture, increase in the speed and performance of the device, as well as reduce in the spread of the results of the analysis in a cyclic mode and in a melting mode.
