SUBSTANCE: closure for use with a soft bag containing a flowable material and having a spout for dispensing flowable material from the bag, comprising a cap member configured to hermetically engage with the spout, and a clamping unit extending from the cap member, wherein the clamping assembly comprising a first clamping member and the second clamping member is coupled to the first clamping member and cooperates with the first clamping member to form a cavity for receiving the bag, wherein the first clamping member and the second clamping member have such a clamping position of the bag that the first clamping member and the second clamping member restrict the flow of flowable material from the bag when at least a portion of the bag is located in the bag receiving cavity.
EFFECT: closure for a soft bag is provided.
