SYSTEM FOR POSTERIOR SPINAL FIXATION WITH PLATE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61B17/70 A61B17/80

Abstract RU 2605147 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. System of rear spinal fixation with plate in first version comprises plate and multiple connecting elements inserted through holes in plate into bone element of corresponding vertebra for fixation of plate to spine. Plate has length, width, top surface, lower surface and multiple holes, extending through plate from top surface to lower surface, and arranged in form of at least two longitudinal rows of holes. Plate has such configuration to extend along rear side of at least two vertebrae, adjacent to at least one bone element of each vertebra. Holes are spaced so that first set of holes can be located above bone element of first vertebra, creating multiple points of fixation to first vertebra. Second set of holes can be located above bone element of second vertebra to create multiple points of fixation to second vertebra. Each of holes of plate has axis. Holes have multiple columns with thread, spaced apart to make multiple recesses without thread. At least one of columns with thread of one of holes of pair of laterally adjacent holes crosses line extending between axes of holes' pair of laterally adjacent holes. System of rear spinal fixation plate in second version comprises plate and multiple connecting elements inserted through holes in plate into bone element of corresponding vertebra for fixation of plate to vertebra. Plate has length, width, top surface, lower surface and multiple holes extending through plate from top surface to lower surface and arranged in form of at least two longitudinal rows of holes. Holes of one line are located in form of longitudinal rows of holes, plate has such configuration to extend along rear side of at least two vertebrae, adjacent to at least one bone element of each vertebra. Holes are spaced so, that first set of holes can be located above bone element of first vertebra to create multiple points of fixation to first vertebra, and second set of holes can be located above bone element of second vertebra to create multiple points of fixation to second vertebra. Plate holes have multiple columns with thread, spaced apart to form plurality of recesses without thread. Plate additionally comprises flange extending between adjoining columns with thread of at least one hole near lower surface of plate, that flange prevents complete introduction of connecting elements through hole. System of rear spinal fixation plate in third version comprises plate and multiple connecting elements to be inserted through hole of plate in lateral mass of corresponding vertebra for fixation of plate to vertebra. Plate has top surface, lower surface and multiple holes, extending through plate from top surface to lower surface. Plate has inner longitudinal edge and outer longitudinal edge and two flanges extending downward from lower surface along inner longitudinal edge and outer longitudinal edges to form pocket, in which biological material can be placed. Plate is made with possibility of continuation along rear side of at least two vertebrae, adjacent to at least one lateral mass of each vertebra. Holes are spaced apart so that first set of holes can be located above lateral mass of first vertebra, forming multiple points of fixation to first vertebra. Second set of holes can be located above lateral mass of second vertebra to make multiple points of fixation to second vertebra. System of rear spinal fixation plate in fourth version comprises plate, pin, rod and multiple connecting elements inserted through holes in plate into lateral mass of corresponding vertebra for fixation of plate to vertebra. Plate has top surface, lower surface and multiple holes, extending through plate from top surface to lower surface. Plate is configured to extend along rear side of at least one vertebra adjacent to lateral mass of vertebra. Holes are spaced so, that multiple holes can be located above lateral mass of vertebra, forming multiple points of fixation to vertebra. Pin extends from top surface of plate and has spherical head at its distal end. Pin is made with possibility of threaded connection to plate. Rod receives head articulated with spherical pin head.

EFFECT: inventions provide decreased X-ray exposure of patients.
