FIELD: absorption products.
SUBSTANCE: absorbent article is proposed comprising a liquid-pervious inner layer, a liquid-impermeable outer layer, and an absorbent core located between the liquid-permeable inner layer and the liquid-impervious outer layer; the said absorbent article having the first and the second longitudinal edges and the first and the second transverse edges; wherein the absorbent core comprises a core backsheet, an absorbent material and a fluid management structure, wherein the absorbent material is positioned directly between the core backsheet and the fluid management structure; and wherein the fluid management structure covers at least a portion of the surface of the absorbent material and comprises at least one channel portion defining at least one channel zone in the absorbent core.
