SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the military equipment and can be used in the tank cannons design and modernization. Tank cannon contains barrel and wedge breech block. In the barrel ejector holes area, a section with enlarged diameter is made, and on the breech guard an additional weight is placed, balancing the reinforced barrel.

EFFECT: proposed technical solution enables the barrel increased strength and survivability.
