FIELD: computing; counting.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a computing device having a cooling fan and an integrated thermal transfer unit. For this purpose, a computing device is disclosed, comprising electronic components, a centrifugal fan unit having a hub, a plurality of blades arranged on the hub, and a motor connected to the hub, wherein the motor forces the hub to rotate about the axis such that air flows outward from the centrifugal fan unit along paths that are perpendicular to the axis and one or more thermal transfer units having at least first portions that are connected to one or more electronic components, and second portions that together at least partially surround the centrifugal fan unit, wherein the second portions of the thermal transfer units are substantially circular, together almost completely surround the centrifugal fan and include corresponding sets of fins that are collinear with the tangents of the centrifugal fan unit.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of cooling efficiency and reduction of energy losses during fan operation.
