FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines with EGR systems. Method for the engine is that at least intake air is supplied to engine cylinders (30) through the first section (108) of divided pressure chamber (138). At least the EGR is fed into engine cylinders (30) through the second, different section (110) of divided pressure chamber (138). First and second sections (108) and (110) of the divided pressure chamber are separated by separator (104) inside divided pressure chamber (138). Separator (104) overlaps the full length of divided pressure chamber (138) from upstream of EGR channel (182) to inlet ports (134) of cylinders (30). Relative flow rate from the first section (108) to cylinders (30) is adjusted by the first set of throttling valves (160) and from the second section (110) to cylinders (30) by the second set of throttling valves (162). First and second sets of throttle valves (160) and (162) are perpendicularly arranged on the common shaft. Common shaft is configured perpendicular to the plane of separator (104). Version of the method for the engine and an engine system are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the delay in generating the maximum torque.
