SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to the production of feed for farm animals. A method for making a feed from a plant raw material with a high content of lignified fiber is claimed. It includes grinding of plant raw material, wetting with a solution of ash and soda, delignification of the fiber, enzymatically hydrolyzing fiber polymers using a cellulolytic enzyme composition in which alkali metal bicarbonate is used as soda, a cellulolytic enzyme composition with indicators of biocatalytic activity is used in a working solution (unit/ml): endo-1,4-β-glucanase – 100–600, exo-1,4-β-glucanase and/or exo-1,4-β-glucosidase – 1,000–1,500, β-glucosidase – 50–250, endo-1,4-β-D-xylanase – 500–1,000, exo-1,4-β-D-xylosidase and/or exo-1,3-β-xylosidase – 300–800; enzymatic hydrolysis is carried out before delignification at a moisture content of the plant mass of 100–500 % and a temperature of 40–50 °C, providing contact with air and stirring for 90–120 minutes, and the delignification is carried out by subsequent heating of the mass to 90–95 °C and exposure without air access for 20–25 minutes at a pressure of 70–85 kPa, followed by natural cooling with stirring in contact with air.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to achieve high values of the depth of enzymatic hydrolysis of lignified fiber and lignin destruction to increase the nutritional value of processed plant raw materials and strengthen its protein-binding ability, to effectively protect the feed from damage with the ability to bind toxins of inorganic and organic nature, to expand the raw material base of agricultural fodder production through the application of biomass of bast plants stems, to simplify and shorten the duration of the technological process.
