SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrically conductive bushings. Bushing assemblies comprise a first tubular end portion, a second tubular end portion and a middle tubular portion. Middle tubular portion has a longitudinal compressive strength which is less than the longitudinal compressive strength of the end portions. In some embodiments, the middle tubular portion consists of a braided sleeve. Bushing assembly kits, apparatus comprising bushing assemblies, such as aircraft, and associated methods of using bushing assemblies are also described.
EFFECT: technical result is the prevention of arcing.
