FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: aircraft chassis structure includes rack assembly and wheel assembly functionally connected to the rack assembly. The rack assembly includes the upper tubular case and the lower tubular case made with a possibility of progressive movement in the longitudinal direction relatively to the upper tubular case so that the total length of the rack assembly is transferred between the configuration of released state and configuration of retracted state for placement during the flight. The wheel assembly includes the front link pivotally connected to the upper tubular case and a cart rod, which is pivotally connected to the lower tubular case, so that the progressive movement of the lower tubular case relatively to the upper tubular case causes the rotation of the front link and cart rod relatively to each other with an inclination and/or lifting of the wheel assembly relatively to the upper tubular case. The aircraft is characterized by the chassis structure. The method characterizes the process of placement of the chassis structure inside the aircraft.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at weight reduction and simplification of aircraft maintenance and production.
