FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: aircraft chassis structure includes a retraction drive and a compression mechanism. The retraction drive is made with a possibility of transferring the rack assembly of the aircraft chassis structure between the configuration of released state and configuration of retracted state by means of the compression mechanism reducing the total longitudinal length of the rack assembly. The retraction drive is also made with a possibility of retracting aircraft chassis during the flight into aircraft stowage area by means of retraction mechanism. In some examples, the retraction mechanism is a balancer, which rotates around the retraction axis to retract aircraft chassis structure and simultaneously actuate the compression mechanism, for example, by means of a drive link connecting the retraction mechanism and compression mechanism. In some examples, the compression mechanism is driven with mechanical dependence on the retraction mechanism. The compression mechanism in some examples is a link fixing unit. The aircraft is characterized by chassis structure. The method of chassis structure retraction inside the aircraft includes actions using the drive.
EFFECT: group of inventions is aimed at simplifying the structure and reducing the weight.
